The Birth of the Cashless Society

by | Aug 30, 2020 | Newsletter | 68 comments

As we all know by now, the entire corona crisis was and is an excuse for The Great Reset. And, as anyone who has followed the financial prognostication space for the past decade knows, “the great reset” has been used nearly interchangeably with “the global currency reset” to describe the collapse of the old dollar-centric Bretton Woods system and the rise of a new international monetary order.

It should come as no surprise, then, that the post-corona Great Reset being hyped by the World Economic Forum and their globalist fellow travelers is itself predicated on a global currency reset. But this global currency reset has a distinctly 21st-century technocratic flavour.

The form that this currency reset is taking reveals itself in the latest headlines from the world of central banking:

U.S. Moves Closer To Digital Dollar

Bank of England Governor Signals Central Bank Digital Currency is Coming

China To Begin Major Expansion Of Digital Currency Testing

Yes, to the surprise of absolutely no one, the central banksters are using “The Great Reset” as a smokescreen to smuggle through one of their most cherished fantasies: the cashless society. Soon, central banks will be issuing national digital currencies and tracking every single transaction in the economy in real time.

And if you were able to read that last paragraph without feeling a chill run down your spine, then you need to get up to speed on what the cashless society entails and why it must be resisted with every last fiber of our being.

We are in the final stages of the push for the cashless society. Are you ready for what’s coming? Find out everything you need to know about the national digital currency paradigm in this week’s edition of The Corbett Report Subscriber!

First, the specifics.

The “digital dollar” that the US Senate banking committee is holding hearings about is the same digital dollar proposal that I talked about in my podcast on The Greatest Depression this past March. As you’ll recall, the Digital Dollar Project is being promoted by the World Economic Forum (surprise, surprise) and sold to the public via the old Cold War trick of “the Russkies Chinese are doing it, so we have to, too!”

Specifically, as the globalist crony insiders explained in their Wall Street Journal op ed on the idea last year:

“We propose a digital dollar—a government-sanctioned blockchain protocol, created and maintained by an independent nongovernmental group but administered by banks and other trusted payment organizations. Cash brought into the system would be exchanged for digital U.S. dollars on a blockchain, with the cash lodged in special escrow accounts maintained by the Federal Reserve.”

In other words, the fine folks over at the Fed would be the invisible counter-party watching lovingly over the digital money system. What could possibly go wrong?

The digital dollar being proposed is a type of “Central Bank Digital Currency” (CBDC), which the Bank for International Settlements (aka the central bank of central banks) was writing about back in 2017. In fact, the idea goes back even further, to a proposed Fed-run central bank cryptocurrency called Fedcoin (I kid you not).

As I explained last year, the point of these “central bank digital currencies” is to take advantage of The Bitcoin Psyop by presenting the cashless society as the cool, hip new spin on that bitcoin/crypto thing all the cool kids are talking about. Of course, this “Fedcoin” concept utterly subverts the very core impetus for bitcoin and cryptocurrency right off the bat, a point highlighted and underlined in the original “Fedcoin” proposal: “It (Fedcoin) reintroduces one central point of control to the monetary system by granting a central bank the ability to set the supply of tokens on a Fedcoin blockchain.”

In other words: “Hey guys, you know that idea for making central banks obsolete by taking the money creation power completely out of their hands and bypassing all intermediaries in the banking system? Well, this is exactly like that, except we’re going to put all the power over this system in the hands of the central bank.”

Sadly, few in the public will even be able to see the blatant contradiction.

And, given that this is now being portrayed as some sort of monetary arms race with those dastardly Chinese and their proposed digital yuan, you can bet that a good portion of the public will embrace this new currency with open arms.

As researcher Steven Guinness has been meticulously documenting at his blog over the last several months, this introduction of central bank digital currencies in England and elsewhere is being fast-tracked by the Bank for International Settlements on the back of the World Economic Forum’s “Great Reset” agenda and is slated to be ready by 2025. The current scamdemic pandemonium only further helps to prepare the public to get ready to trade in their filthy, virus-laden cash for healthy virtual Fedcoins.

But still, this may just seem like a technological upgrade to our payment systems. People increasingly pay with cards or payment apps anyway, so what difference does it make if we eliminate cash altogether?

I have done a lot of work on the cashless society over the years, but it’s one of those concepts that is so large and so difficult to envision in its entirety that it’s worth revisiting here. To get a sense of how the cashless society is not about payment convenience but about control over every aspect of your lives, watch this short video that the ACLU put out a decade and a half ago:

This video wasn’t even meant to warn about the cashless society. The hapless victim of this pizza transaction ends up being forced to pay in cash because his credit card is maxed out. But the rest of the video is the vision of the cashless society in a nutshell. In the cashless society, your entire payment history and all of the information that is tied into that history will be plainly visible to those who have access to it. And if the government issues a decree about what you are or are not able to purchase, that decree will be enforced at the point of sale. At that point, freedom will only be found in the counter-economy.

If you want to get a handle on what such a future will look like, imagine the following scenario:

You are out for a walk late at night. You come to a red light, but there is no one around. You hesitate a moment, double-check that there is really no one in sight and then dash across the intersection. In the two seconds it takes you to cross the road, a large LED screen above the street lights up with your picture and your name. Two seconds after that you feel a buzz in your pocket. Taking out your phone you find a message from your bank informing you that you have been fined for jaywalking and that your social credit score has been reduced.

The next day, you’re at the airport, preparing to board a flight to visit your family on the other side of the country. When you go to check in you receive a message that your social credit score is too low and you will not be allowed to board the plane. Enraged, you curse the airline, the government’s social credit system, its jaywalking laws, and even the government itself.

Unbeknownst to you, someone has recorded your outburst and uploads it to social media, where you are quickly identified. The police come to your home the next day and take you downtown where you are shackled in a chair and made to recant your statements about the government.

Sound like something out of a dystopian sci-fi novel? Well, it’s not. It’s just a mundane portrayal of everyday life in current day China.

Facial recognition deployed to monitor the streets and automatically issue fines for jaywalking and other minor infractions? Check.

Social credit scores tied in to your ability to board public transportation or access government services? Check.

Police hauling people in for angrily ranting about the government and shackling them until they recant? Check.

The cashless society is about so much more than just how we pay for things at the store. Tied into a system of persistent technological surveillance, it represents the ultimate control over our lives. Can there be any doubt as to why the World Economic Forum and the Bank for International Settlements are working in concert with the central banks of the world and organizations like the Bill Gates-co-founded Better Than Cash Alliance to pave the way for this nightmare to become a reality?

  1. James Corbett’s Sunday August 30, 2020 article The Birth of the Cashless Society is so very timely in any number of ways.

The previous day, Saturday August 29th, the World watched as tens of thousands, if not hundred of thousands, of folks around Europe marched against The Authoritarians.

One highlight of Saturday’s events was the fact that Robert F Kennedy, Jr. was in Berlin, and received a spirited welcome much like his Father and Uncle had back in the early 1960’s.

While in Berlin, Robert F Kennedy, Jr. made it a strong point to highlight the dangers surrounding The Birth of the Cashless Society.

At the 12 minute mark of this 18 minute VIDEO, Kennedy discusses digital money.

  3. And I believe you are quite naive.

    • As long as the banks control the block chain, they can do whatever they want with it. On a public blockchain one could also do whatever they wanted, provided they had a sufficient number of bad actors.

On a bank controlled blockchain, all actors are bad actors. Laundering will become just a trivial matter of cooking the books, editing a pointer here and there.

  4. fuck these “people” and all of their plans.

    Death to all oppressors!
    Death to all technocrats!

  5. How do you think these people are laundering money these days? Through banks directly, that’s how.

  6. just listened to the media monarchy recommended. nice! and fun!

  7. What do we do? I do not want to sit here and watch this thing unfold , is there anyway to stop this?

    • Hi Darlene,
      I agree!
I think one of the best things to do is to inform others, and/or participate in ways which facilitate that.

You may have seen the recent “New World Next Week” where Corbett stresses this, and also there is Derrick Broze Announces #ExposeBillGates Day of Action 2
      https://www.corbettreport.com/interview-1566-derrick-broze-announces-exposebillgates-day-of-action-2/

But a person can do actions any day of the week.
Doing something is certainly much better than doing nothing.

“No action” will deliver tyranny at an accelerated speed.

    • The only way history shows us how to combat fascists is struggle. This means collective struggle with others, for without numbers we lose.

Learning how to organize, how to work with others is key.

Americans have a hard time with this for many believe they can solve all their problems individually.

Only organized resistance can have any chance os stopping this

  8. This is so funny James… I remember being a huge Nixon supporter in high school in the early 70’s and came up with a great idea, i thought on my own, to control drugs and crime… I wrote a letter to President Nixon that since drug deals were paid in cash we should eliminate cash…lol

  9. Well, technology can be used for good or bad. It is up to us to figure out how to use it wisely. I believe the internet was conceived to be a method to gain more centralized power, but it serves the masses well in side stepping that centralized power. I think if used properly, and properly coordinated, every technology can be used to expand freedom, not hinder it.

  10. Watching my hometown London resist I felt proud and wished I were there. Very disappointed with how Mexico is behaving on this non-existent bioscam but maybe it’s because of an excess of entitled gringos who reside here.

    • I hear ya about the privileged and entitled gringos who are stuck in this glib, airy-fairie, Disneyland, “obey the experts” mindset with no real focus on matters of substance.
I’m sorry if I offend anyone, but some of these upper income Americans do the world no favors by their strong, gleeful, conventional support for the status quo.
I am not knocking having money nor comfort – that is not the issue.

One example I ran across today when I was scouting mainstream news in my area is Brooklyn and Bailey YouTube Stars who live in an area 15 minutes away from me. I had never heard of them before. Evidently, they have well over 6 million YouTube subscribers.
I am very, very familiar with the area, and I believe that I may even had accepted household left-over donations from one of the twin’s boyfriends and/or Father at my place of employment this past year.
      SAMPLE
      https://youtu.be/-bGdWjhXJts?t=608

I am sure that this is a nice family. I am not really knocking them.
But I do have qualms with the glorification of the status quo.

In the early 70’s, I would take my college roommate on the long drive down to his home in Mexico to visit for a long weekend. I would hang out with him and his friends while they told jokes in Spanish, which is a great way to learn the language. One of his friends would let me stay at his humble house, where his sister and a bunch of little kids lived. There was only one bed, which the sister and kids all slept in. They insisted that I sleep in it. I did not want to (the floor was fine), but there comes a point where it becomes rude not to honor the host. The morning shower was a pipe up high outside on the wall with no hot water.
There in Mexico, it was common to portray rich American tourists in sarcastic light. I would see the cartoon images and we would all joke about the Americans.

  11. Re: James’s article.
I’m always reminded of the Economist’s 1988 cover which proclaimed a one world currency in 2018.
I can’t copy and paste the cover here, so I’ll provide a steemit discussion link (with cover) instead.
    https://steemit.com/bitcoin/@britcoin/get-ready-new-crypto-get-ready-for-it-phoenix-coin

A phoenix(coin) arising from the ashes. Proof (if ever it was needed) that they do indeed plan these things way in advance.
My fear is that it is already too late for cash. I live in Japan not too far from James (which along with Germany and a few other countries rank quite high for people still using cash for transactions) and I make every effort to pay by cash for everything I buy. But more and more people are paying digitally here. By credit cards, by pre-paid cards (Pitapa, Icoca) by apps like Softbank’s PayPay. Little by litte the changes have grown (fewer physical ticket machines at the train stations instead replaced by more and more contactless ticket machines, more self-service checkouts at supermarkets, discounts for cashless payments erc.)
All of this from a country with a huge elderly population that primarily uses cash and will be slow to change habits. (Although the fear of corona-filled notes may be hastening the change to digital in that respect.) So, I wonder what it’s like in other countries. I would love to know.
The reason I think cash is doomed is because of the youth and because nature always favours the path of least resistance. The youth already do everything with their phones cashless payment is just another app, another convenience.
And that’s why the internet and mobile phones have flourished because they make everything so easy, and because of this I think ultimately we will go cashless. They will make it so easy and convenient and make transactions by cash more and more inconvenient.
I keep hoping for a huge coronal mass ejection, another Carrigton event. So we could have a great reset back to the physical.

    • the 3 letter reason an all digital currency will never work: EMP

thats not to say crooks wont try to employ it, but even with remnants of saved data, the total shred of microprocessors might turn lotsa george jetsons into fred flintstones in a skinny second.

      In the mean time,
melbourne is taking it the hardest, fining and one non-masker woman physically brutalized by two off chops cops . most for the most part, are under house arrest. Here mid east coast, a newly renovated skatepark attracted a big group of people, happy, music booming, with no neighbors to bother but, oops, more than 20 people gathered, cops arrived and fined everyone, including kids, $1000 each (that oughta keep em from getting infected eh.)
protests are planned all over Australia for the coming weekend; the best strategy I heard of is getting police on side, way ahead of the action. They take an oath which is to the pommy queen FFS. My point is not in black & white, but talking to veterans or police (those licensed to kill), the trick is that they are also required to not obey unjust orders/laws. Ive mostly been met with cops open to discuss the difficulty of having to be an underdog, though in these times they’ve been given a kind of carte blanche by the doubly-dirtiest to grin and bare the bribe, its been hard to find any moral common ground, but thts the field of awareness where game changers can thrive. Then there are plenty expendables who smart from frazzled nerves when I spring that topic. they’re not too keen to talk about it, which may mean that they know they’ve been breaking their oath, or maybe their heart/mind interface is cooked, oh dear.

  12. I got a cold call the other day from Minor International – a multi-national company based in Bangkok, Thailand that has three subsidiaries namely Minor Hotels, Minor Food, and Minor Lifestyle. The call I got came from someone in the Minor Hotels subsidiary who invited me to stay at one of their resorts at a “special rate”.

I bit puzzled as to how they got my phone number given I had never stayed at any of their hotels within their chain upon persistent questioning I found out that I had ordered pizza delivery from a company within their Minor Food subsidiary and data from these customers was shared between companies within the Minor Group. It appears they had trawled through this data for expats living in Thailand that they perceived were ‘high net worth’ individuals and potentially could afford a luxury hotel vacation.

Ordering a Pizza in the Future is here today. You have lost control over your own information and it is only time before it will be used against you.

    • That is a very interesting anecdote Pete! Thanks.

  13. It all boils down to non-compliance.
If you continue to use cash and refuse the virtual alternatives, they will not come.
This weekend gives me hope that many people now understand what is at stake.

Peaceful non-compliance is the way to go.
Let us all continue on that path.

  14. Derrick Broze has an interesting August 30th article…

The Rise of Authoritarianism: From Parasite Stress Theory to Lock Step
    https://www.activistpost.com/2020/08/the-rise-of-authoritarianism-from-parasite-stress-theory-to-lock-step.html

The hypothesis presented is an interesting philosophical strategy.
Here is an EXCERPT from some of the closing paragraphs of Derick’s article.

…Considering the abundance of evidence indicating that Parasite Stress theory is an accurate representation of how humanity will respond to perceived threats, we must ask whether the Gates or Rockefeller Foundations were aware of the potential for pathogens to lead to more obedient populations and increasingly authoritarian governments.
    Here’s what we know:

~~ We know for a fact that the Gates and Rockefeller Foundations are extremely influential when it comes to global health and education.
~~ We also know that at least one researcher involved with Parasite Stress theory has worked with the Gates Foundation.

Reflect back to the passage from “The Parasite Stress Theory of Values and Sociality” which notes that if someone wanted to encourage authoritarianism – including “full-blown fascism or genocide” – they could achieve this goal by “promoting widespread mortality and morbidity from infectious diseases.”
Armed with this knowledge, unlimited financial capital, and global influence, one could easily sway the world towards conformity and authoritarianism….

  15. Derrick Broze says:

Hope that the interview is coming soon.

  16. Hi All,
I live in Australia, and am considering attending protest march in my capital city this weekend coming. I have a family who would like to go, however we are hesitant to take a child under 10 yo to the march in case things go bad…
I am not so concerned re my own safety although I do have a chronic health issue (that I am working on with a naturopath), more concerned about theirs, and the stress that daddy being arrested might have on my child and wife should I fail to come home for a time.
My biggest question I guess is this: is this the time to be protesting or as I understand Sun Tsu to have written ought I attack the strategy of the enemy at the moment when victory is assured?-my butchered paraphrase no doubt 🙂
Not looking for definitive answers so much as thought on the timing of these marches in overall context of events, and whether or not this is the right time to march or is it more the time to be preparing for what lies ahead by gardening, etc.
Thanks for taking the time to read and for any thoughts that you care to share in response.

    • Not This Little Frog,

As you bring up, do what your gut tells you is the best for the situation.

I like protests and marches. I think that they inspire others and also let others know that they are not alone. It is the choir singing.

That said, there are also other things which anyone can do.
I feel like disseminating information is very important.

A favorite tactic which I like is to put out flyers.
Lately, I have been placing flyers on the car windshields, driver’s side under the wiper. It is simple and quick.

I have even had people ‘mufflely’ thank me through their mask after seeing the big print “The Government and Media Lie !”
So, it does let others know that they are not alone, but the flyer can also inform newbies.
      https://www.corbettreport.com/interview-1572-new-world-next-week-with-james-evan-pilato/#comment-92359
(scroll down to see an image)

Anyway, it doesn’t consume much time to put out flyers.
I have done them on homes, using masking tape to the doorknob, but it takes longer than cars.

Through the many decades, I have had a lot of experience with flyers, and am responsible for distributing more than a million (for business and activism). On the million number, I am not overstating it.

Not This Little Frog, All in all, do what is right for you.

      • Hi HRS,
Thanks for taking the time to read and respond to my comment. I appreciate the suggestions especially the idea of dropping flyers in to local residents, as I can achieve this in less than the time that it would me to drive to centre of Melbourne (we are almost in “the country”). I need to gain a sense of making a difference outside and impact in other people’s lives and give ‘the finger’ to TPTSB.
I have been hindered in my ability to seek to effect change for many weeks now as my health has been unpredictable and this has hampered me in doing much apart from keeping up to date with what’s going on and focusing on my journey towards better health.
I have decided to also spend some time completing a #ExposeBillGates project with my daughter. So I think between those two actions I can achieve several goals that are geared towards this objective.
With TPTSB finding new ways to suppress the truth and create a fear of reprisal amongst the populace atm, nothing is without risk. Simply posting a FB message or standing up and giving props to the idea of meeting together to protest is being seen as an act of ‘incitement’ here now; an offence meriting arrest.
The divide between those ‘pro’ and ‘agin’ the mainstream narrative is quite obvious and the media is using that for all it’s worth.
Hope you’re well and keeping going and pushing back as you able and deem most effective

    • Fear not as you are not alone. We are under the torture of carefew here in Melbourne. Every step toward freedom is a victory mate. Do not overthink it. If your partner is happy with what you are doing, go for it.

      • Thanks Seraph, please refer to my response to HRS for info re: my response.
BTW what area or postcode within Melbourne are you in?
        I’m located in Yarra Valley.
Are you using freedom cell network, or some other form of decentralised social media forum?
Yes; every step toward freedom is a victory.
Specialising in overthinking it comes somewhat too naturally to me especially atm 😉

  17. Hi there,

I’m a recent subscriber and I’m trying to get as many friends on board with the Corbett Report as I can.

However, one friend of mine refuses to watch him and says James Corbett is lying about being an “award-winning” journalist because he can’t find any reference to the award(s) that he won, therefore he’s a liar therefore he won’t take him seriously, blah, blah etc.

Does anyone know which award or awards James has won?

    Thanking you in advance.

    Mike

    • Mike,
So glad you are here on the comment boards! We all are.

Always do what you think is best.

Perhaps, with your friend, you may want to tell him:
“You are right. You should not watch the Corbett Report. …I definitely will watch it, but I don’t think you should. No. Don’t watch it.”

      mikesu asks:
“Does anyone know which award or awards James has won? “

James Corbett and The Corbett Report has received tons of awards!
Tons and tons. He has been honored by the Mainstream Media and Fact Checkers a zillion times over as a “Fake News Site” and “Misinformation Site” ranking at the top of the list. 😉

      Mike,
You probably will enjoy this 2 1/2 minute video…
How to Talk to Someone Who’s Spreading COVID-19 Misinformation
      https://youtu.be/X8qUgetDrqs

    • Hi Mike and welcome!

When I first discovered James Corbett late 2015, the last thing on my mind was a requirement for awards to validate his research. The exhaustive footnotes provided in each report was damning enough to convince me how fraudulent mainstream journalism, politics and history really is. In light of project mockingbird and the decades-long open contempt and mistrust deservedly heaped onto MSM, I find it kind of funny that so much respect and trust is still given to their awards and ceremonies. However, since James himself states on his “About” page that he is an award-winning journalist, we should anticipate that claim to be verified (and to be fair to your friend, the link provided therein by James isn’t very clear). Going by the title “19. Agribusiness Giants Attempt to Silence and Discredit Scientists Whose Research Reveals Herbicides’ Health Threats”, it appears to be a part of something larger. Reading same, my understanding is that James’s report “Genetic Fallacy: How Monsanto Silences Scientific Dissent” was indeed recognized and awarded one of the top stories of 2014 by Project Censored. From their website:

A Note on Research and Evaluation of Censored News Stories

How do we at Project Censored identify and evaluate independent news stories, and how do we know that the Top 25 stories that we bring forward each year are not only relevant and significant, but also trustworthy? The answer is that each candidate news story undergoes rigorous review, which takes place in multiple stages during each annual cycle. Although adapted to take advantage of both the Project’s expanding affiliates program and current technologies, the vetting process is quite similar to the one Project Censored founder Carl Jensen established thirty-eight years ago.

Candidate stories are initially identified by Project Censored professors and students, or are nominated by members of the general public, who bring them to the Project’s attention through our website. Together, faculty and students vet each candidate story in terms of its importance, timeliness, quality of sources, and corporate news coverage. If it fails on any one of these criteria, the story does not go forward.

      (continued below)

      • (continued)

Once Project Censored receives the candidate story, we undertake a second round of judgment, using the same criteria and updating the review of any competing corporate coverage. Stories that pass this round of review get posted on our website as Validated Independent News stories (VINs).

In early spring, we present all VINs in the current cycle to the faculty and students at all of our affiliate campuses, and to our national and international panel of judges, who cast votes to winnow the candidate stories from nearly 300 down to 25.

Once the Top 25 have been determined, students in Peter Phillip’s Media Censorship course at Sonoma State University, and Project Censored student interns working with Mickey Huff at Diablo Valley College, begin another intensive review of each story using LexisNexis and ProQuest databases. Additional faculty and students contribute to this final stage of review.

The Top 25 finalists are then sent to our panel of judges, who vote to rank them in numerical order. At the same time, these experts—including media studies professors, professional journalists, and a former commissioner of the Federal Communications Commission, among others—offer their insights on the stories’ strengths and weaknesses.

Thus, by the time a story appears in the pages of Censored, it has undergone at least five distinct rounds of review and evaluation. Although the stories that Project Censored brings forward may be socially and politically controversial—and sometimes even psychologically challenging—we are confident that each is the result of serious journalistic effort and, so, deserves greater public attention.

The CDC updated their COVID-19 death statistics ‘quietly’ on August 26th.
Less than 10,000 of the so-called COVID-19 deaths were actually caused solely by the virus (even though no virus testing is required to certify someone dead from COVID-19).

        https://www.easttexasmatters.com/news/no-the-cdc-has-not-reduced-the-death-count-related-to-covid-19/

        EXCERPTS
WASHINGTON – The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention did not “backpedal” on the number of deaths caused by COVID-19, reducing the figure from nearly 154,000 to just over 9,000, as social media posts claimed.

The term “Only 6%” trended widely on Twitter over the weekend as supporters of the QAnon conspiracy theory promoted tweets that falsely suggested the CDC had updated its records to show that only 6% of U.S. deaths tied to COVID-19 were legitimate.
President Donald Trump was among those who tweeted the information, which was later taken down by Twitter for violating platform rules…

… A death isn’t excluded from the COVID-19 tally just because the person was obese or had diabetes or dementia. Someone with heart problems can still be killed by COVID-19, and the death certificate could mention both as contributing.

Experts say it’s not surprising that so few people who died from COVID-19 had no underlying conditions listed on their death certificates. It is rare for people not to have multiple medical issues at death.

“The underlying cause of death is the condition that began the chain of events that ultimately led to the person’s death,”
Dr. Robert Anderson, who oversees the CDC’s death statistics work, said in a statement.
“In 92% of all deaths that mention COVID-19, COVID-19 is listed as the underlying cause of death.”

…For example, people died with diabetes not because of it, said Dr. William Schaffner, an infectious-diseases expert at Vanderbilt University.

“If it hadn’t been for the COVID virus infection, these people would be living today,”
        he said.
“So yes, although they have contributing underlying chronic health factors, it’s still the COVID virus that killed them.”

Renters in U.S. cannot be evicted through the end of the year due to coronavirus, CDC order states

    Unpublished CDC Order
    https://s3.amazonaws.com/public-inspection.federalregister.gov/2020-19654.pdf

    EXCERPTS
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention implemented a temporary eviction moratorium through the end of the year, protecting U.S. renters from losing their homes during the COVID-19 pandemic, the Trump administration announced Tuesday.

The CDC’s moratorium will apply to all rental units nationwide until Dec. 31 and goes into effect immediately, senior administration officials said of an unpublished CDC agency order. Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin told a U.S. House of Representatives panel Tuesday that the moratorium would cover around 40 million renters.

A previous federal eviction moratorium created by the CARES Act ended in late July and only applied to federally-funded housing, including rental units with mortgages backed by Fannie Mae FNMA, -1.33% and Freddie Mac FMCC, -1.78% . The moratorium will apply to any state in which there is not already a more protective ban in effect, according to the order. Multiple states have eviction moratoriums in place, including California, which established new rules in a late-night vote Monday.

Renters will be eligible for the moratorium’s protection if they received an economic impact payment, or stimulus check, as provided for by the CARES Act. Therefore, single renters must earn no more than $99,000 a year, while couples filing jointly can earn up to $198,000 annually.

The order, which was shared ahead of being published in the Federal Register on Sept. 4, includes a declaration for renters to sign and give their landlord. Senior Trump administration officials said the form would be made available on the CDC’s website.

Renters must indicate on the declaration that they cannot afford to pay their rent in full and that if evicted they would become homeless or force to move into congregate housing. Renters also must be able to prove that they made an effort to receive government assistance and that they could not afford rent.

The moratorium does not absolve renters of paying the rent. That money is still due to landlords, and senior administration officials said that renters should still attempt to make partial payments when they cannot afford to pay in full.

Landlords will still be permitted to evict tenants in certain cases, such as instances in which the tenant has destroyed property or poses a threat to the health or safety of neighbors…

…“In the context of a pandemic, eviction moratoria — like quarantine, isolation, and social distancing — can be an effective public health measure utilized to prevent the spread of communicable disease,” the CDC’s unpublished order said….

    Victoria, Australia –
In the home of a PREGNANT Woman, Police ARREST her for a FACEBOOK POST which promoted an anti-lockdown protest

    (2 1/2 minute video)

    FULL ARTICLE (Video embedded)
A woman’s arrest for allegedly inciting an anti-lockdown protest in regional Victoria has gone viral after it was live-streamed on Facebook.
The 28-year-old woman started filming when police arrived at her house in Ballarat, west of Melbourne, on Wednesday afternoon.

In the video, she asks for a search warrant, which the police hand over.
“You’re under arrest in relation to incitement,” an officer says.
The woman asks her partner to keep filming as police handcuff her.
“Excuse me, what on earth?” she asks.

“Can you record this? I’m in my pyjamas.”

In the video, an officer tells the woman her arrest was in relation to a social media post, allegedly encouraging people to attend a protest in Ballarat against COVID-19 restrictions.

The woman tells police she is pregnant and has an ultrasound appointment in an hour’s time. She offers to delete the post and questions the need to arrest her in front of her two children.

But Victoria Police confirmed the woman was taken into custody and charged with incitement.
A mobile device was also seized from a Miners Rest address, police said.

The woman was later released on bail and is due to appear in the Ballarat Magistrates’ Court in January.
In a statement, Victoria Police said it was taking action as part of an ongoing investigation into the planning and encouragement of protest activity in Ballarat.

Regional Victoria is under stage 3 stay-at-home orders, and gatherings are banned.
“Any gathering of this nature is in blatant breach of the Chief Health Officer’s directions and puts Victorian lives at risk,” police said.

“Those still thinking of attending the protest … can expect a swift and firm response from police.
“We will have no hesitation in issuing $1,652 fines to anyone who is breaching the restrictions on the day, or making arrests if necessary.”

The video had amassed more than 600,000 views within three hours of being posted.

FDA Wants to Ban NAC Now That It Combats COVID-19
    https://articles.mercola.com/sites/articles/archive/2020/09/03/n-acetylcysteine-fda.aspx

    EXCERPTS
At present, seven studies involving NAC for COVID-19 are listed on Clinicaltrials.gov.5 Time will tell whether the FDA ends up trying to block access to NAC supplements, similarly to the way hydroxychloroquine access has been stifled.

The idea that NAC can be helpful against viral infections is not new. Previous studies have found it reduces viral replication of certain viruses, including the influenza virus.

    Story at-a-glance

~~ N-acetylcysteine (NAC) has a long history of use as a first-aid remedy for acetaminophen poisoning. Compelling research suggests it may also be useful against COVID-19
~~ By raising glutathione, NAC combats oxidative stress, which is a main cause of the cytokine storm associated with COVID-19. NAC also inhibits hypercoagulation and breaks up blood clots, which is another complication seen in some COVID-19 cases
~~ NAC helps loosen thick mucus in the lungs and improves a variety of lung-related problems, including pneumonia and acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS), both of which are common characteristics of COVID-19
~~ NAC has been shown to inhibit replication of influenza virus
~~ Aside from increasing glutathione, NAC may also prevent or improve COVID-19 infection by improving T cell response and modulating inflammation

    • WARNING
The following Anecdote about my experience with N-acetylcysteine (NAC) has gross intimate aspects.

It was summer 2011. My 2008 degree was in the Environmental Sciences (Bio-Chem, toxicology, hydrology, etc. 3.85 gpa).
The job market was crushed across the boards with many professionals in all fields unemployed.

I finally landed a job at a nearby large Environmental Lab Testing Facility.

      Gold harvesting from microbes
One of the owners told me an interesting history of how they acquired the facility and equipment at a cheap price.
Prior, the lab was part of one of these “start-ups”. You know, the kind of startup where lots of investor money is spent foolishly by those managing the project and paying themselves high salaries with great perks. The goal was to figure out a viable commercial method to utilize bacteria in extracting gold. However, the project did not pan out. Pun intended. The start-up went bankrupt. Some of the employees pulled their money and bought the facility, refitting it for a testing lab.

Different businesses and other institutions would send samples to this Environmental Testing Lab for various purposes, primarily to find out what type of contaminants existed on the sample. The sample could be anything, from carpet to water.

I worked in a small enclosed room with a vent-hood using solvents to test different samples. I did not want to, but I needed the job. Most commercial solvents are very nasty, toxic, volatile chemicals. Volatile means they evaporate easily.

Grain Alcohol like Everclear (ethyl alcohol or ethanol) is a solvent most folks are familiar with. I use that to make tinctures from different herbs, because it extracts chemical components from the herb. I also use it in spray bottles (instead of unhealthy rubbing alcohol, i.e. isopropyl alcohol) to clean up oily residues or to sanitize or to freshen the air.

At the lab, I worked with such solvents as Hexane, Dichloromethane, and ethyl ether, along with other chemicals like sulfuric acid, solvent-based fluorochemicals like florosil, strong alkali chemicals, etc.
Despite the vent-hood, the fumes would permeate the small room. My very tall co-worker seemed to not care about them, and he had been there longer than I. However, he was very grumpy all the time.

      (…continued…)

      • (…continuing…)

As the days passed, I noticed more and more odd physical and mental phenomena. The body was not working normally.
Each day seemed worse. I am reading my 2011 log notes as I type. The list of odd symptoms kept growing.
At night, when I was lying in bed trying to sleep, every time I exhaled I could smell the solvents. It was as if I was exhaling fumes.

Not one to be a whimp, I finally gave in to whimpdom, and told my wife that I was really getting some bad body indications. She started yelling, “You better not quit this job!” So, that pretty much ended the conversation.

The list of phenomena is too long to mention it all.
Here are a few from the notes:
Muscle weakness, bloodshot/glossy eyes, can’t think nor remember well, nasal drip like a cold, dizziness at times, nausea and stomach feeling weird, hearing loss in left ear, constantly feeling thirsty, sometimes slurred speech, sometimes hyper-active with anxiety or euphoria, attenuation of certain vision ranges, odd bowel movements and stools, headaches, and more.

        My last workday.
After our lunch hour, I asked my co-worker if I needed to test the samples on a certain tray.
He said, ”No. Of course not. We tested those this morning. Don’t you remember?”
Slurring, I told him that I did not remember. During the next half hour while working, I started feeling this extreme panic. I absolutely could not remember anything that I had done earlier in the day. Not anything. Nothing – it was blank. My gut was feeling weird. Really weird. I lost complete bowel control. Later, I would find that the lost bowel control looked entirely like Kentucky Fried Chicken cooking grease. Like cooking oils. As if my body fats were liquefied by the solvents. And to this day, I believe the solvents did dissolve the fats within my tissues, because that is exactly what solvents do…they extract oils.

        (…continued…)

        • (…continuing…)

Anyway, I told my co-worker that I was really sick and needed to go home. I made the drive home like a drunk and literally felt like I was dying. I showered and drank tons of water. I couldn’t shake the mental state. I knew I was getting close to death. I called my wife to help me find an alternative Doctor through a friend. I needed a Doctor who could help with the detoxification. Found one and appointment was set.

The Doctor confirmed the toxicity of the solvents. He prescribed a variety of supplements.
The importance of taking N-acetylcysteine (NAC) was repeatedly stressed.
I asked how much I could take per day. He replied, “As much as you can tolerate.”
And I did. I took a lot. There were days that I took a half bottle of NAC.
I read up on the literature and then started taking complimentary supplements which facilitate glutathione production with the NAC.

From my own perspective, I believe NAC played a major role in saving my life.

The literature on N-acetylcysteine (NAC) is fascinating.

          • Thanks NAC for taking our homie away from the precipice 😉

            • It is always nice to have the knack (NAC) for getting rid of the grease runs.

Why the FDA is Attacking NAC Supplements
          https://anh-usa.org/why-the-fda-is-attacking-nac-supplements/

          EXCERPTS
… So, why is the FDA threatening NAC now, during a pandemic when a new FDA commissioner hasn’t even been appointed?
For starters, a drug company is investigating NAC as a treatment for a rare genetic disorder that damages the myelin sheath, which insulates nerve cells in the brain.
The Phase 1 trial was completed in March 2020.

But that’s just the beginning. A search through the government’s clinical trials database shows considerable interest from the pharmaceutical industry in NAC.
There are 17 trials looking at NAC, in both drug and supplement form, in the treatment of COVID.
Additionally, there are over 50 trials looking at NAC for a variety of other conditions, including: autism spectrum disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, alcohol abuse disorder, rhinosinusitis, bronchiolitis, cardiac arrhythmia, and more.

Note that NAC drugs are currently available in generic form since it is off-patent, but a company could bring a new branded NAC drug to market if it was proven effective for an additional indication.

Given these facts, it seems reasonable to assume that the FDA is setting the stage for a new NAC drug to come to market by removing the competition from much cheaper NAC supplements.
We called it when the FDA pulled a similar move a few years back when they went after brain health supplements, trying to clear the market for a new Alzheimer’s drug—culminating in the recent approval of an Alzheimer’s treatment that many experts think is not effective.

“UN says new polio outbreak in Sudan caused by oral vaccine”

    EXCERPTS
This really should be one of the biggest public health scandals of the decade, but instead it’s given little attention – mainly because of the high-profile nature of the people and organisations involved.

The United Nations has been forced to admit that a major international vaccine initiative is actually causing a deadly outbreak of the very disease it was supposed to wipe-out.

While international organisations like the World Health Organization (WHO) will regularly boast about ‘eradicating polio’ with vaccines—the opposite seems to be the case, with vaccines causing the deaths of scores of young people living in Africa.

Health officials have now admitted that their plan to stop ‘wild’ polio is backfiring, as scores children are being paralyzed by a deadly strain of the pathogen derived from a live vaccine – causing a virulent wave of polio to spread.

This latest pharma-induced pandemic started out in the African countries of Chad and Sudan, with the culprit identified as vaccine-derived polio virus type 2.

Officials now fear this new dangerous strain could soon ‘jump continents,’ causing further deadly outbreaks around the world.

Shocking as it sounds, this Big Pharma debacle is not new. After spending some $16 billion over 30 years to eradicate polio, international health bodies have ‘accidentally’ reintroduced the disease to in Pakistan, Afghanistan, and also Iran, as the central Asia region was hit by a virulent strain of polio spawned by the a pharmaceutical vaccine. Also, in 2019, the government of Ethiopia ordered the destruction of 57,000 vials of type 2 oral polio vaccine (mOPV2) following a similar outbreak of vaccine-induced polio.

The same incident has happened in India as well.

It’s important to note that the oral polio vaccine is being pushed by the Global Polio Eradication Initiative (GPEI), a consortium which is supported and funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation…

…Currently, the first experimental COVID-19 vaccine is being tested on the African population through GAVI Vaccine Alliance, another organization funded by the Gates Foundation. A large round of human trials is taking place in South Africa, run by the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg—another Gates-funded institution….

In a report laying out its approach on CBDC, the BOJ said it will conduct a first phase of experiments on basic functions core to CBDCs, such as issuance and distribution, early in the fiscal year beginning in April 2021.

The experiments will be part of the BOJ’s efforts to look more closely into how it can issue general-purpose CBDCs, intended to be used widely among the general public including companies and households.

The BOJ added it would be desirable for the CBDC to be used not only for domestic but cross-border payments.
